Tim turned the big 30 a couple of weeks ago! Of course I'm just getting around to posting it! We had a gathering with some family the night before where we enjoyed this very rich cookie cake. The kids, of course, had to help him blow out his measly 2 candles! 
The next day, on his actual birthday, our moms stayed with the kids while we went out to dinner. Unbeknownst to Tim, they also had 4 other kids of friends of ours that were meeting us at the restaurant! Supposedly just the two of us were going out, but in reality we had 3 other couples meeting us to surprise Tim. They are all wonderful friends and we are so glad that they could share Tim's special day with us. We both had a really nice time.
