Myrtle Beach Post #3 Children's Museum

South Carolina Children's Museum

They had a special guest that day from the Army Special Operations Unit that is nearby.
As you can see, Lilly was NOT thrilled at having to stand next to him!

He took all the kids around the humvee and pointed out different things.

When we were inside he showed them all of his gear and even had one of the employees there wear his gas suit with the mask and everything. The kids got to ask lots of questions, but none of mine were brave enough!

They had lots of different activities for the kids to try out and play with. We spent probably 2 1/2 hours in there and I think the kids would have been content to stay the whole day!

I know this is blurry, but that's because he wouldn't stop running up and down this "hill". He probably did that for at least 5 minutes straight.

This was probably my favorite activity in the whole place. I just loved this idea! This picture was taken just before Lilly tripped on the tire and sat in the bubble mixture. She was NOT happy!

Visions of the future?! Scary!

Fun pretending to be dentist and hygienists!

and...the finished project.

This was the flag that everyone at the special presentation got to sign. This was given to the Army Sergeant that was there.
