The "Pain"-ting Has Begun...

There is absoultely no question why the word "PAIN" is part of the word painting!!! The painting began today after a late night of scraping. There was not a cloud in the sky today. No chance of rain at all. The only thing was that meant FULL sun all day long. Dad and Matt-The Supervisor, worked really hard with me. Were it not for their willingness to help, I probably wouldn't have even started. Sorry I can't write more, but my brain is literaly fried from too much sun!

Stay tuned for updates. The pictures below show you the progress made after a full day today. Scraping, 1 coat of Primer and 2 coats of paint. Not bad, huh?!? Some front trim still needs attention, but all in time... This project is already teaching me patience!!! -Tim

The house looks great! It's the same color as ours with the same trim and shutter colors! We had the same problem with deciding about that facia board. In your case I think the fact that it lines up with the roof makes it stand out too much in white. Perhaps you can get a less bright white to match the gutter in the front (if that's a gutter - i can't tell). Good Luck. Either way it looks nice ! Valerie
