Much to the dismay of Ben the tool man Manhardt, the major home improvement projects are finally coming to a close. Ben absolutely loves having the "guys" and the "Bobcats" around. I honestly don't know what he'll do when they are all gone. In fact, the contractor, "Dan" loved having Ben around so much that he bought Ben a birthday present for December! See, Ben was so excited to be around the "worker guys" that he would take all of his play tools and stuff each and everyone of them in his pockets and walk around "working"--ie, beating the dirt with his hammer and such. Ben would claim that he was "fixing the dirt!" One time he had so many tools stuffed in his pockets that he could hardly keep his shorts up. Dan thought it was absolutely hilarious/adorable. So, yes, Dan got Ben a kid size tool belt for his birthday. Don't tell Ben as he has to wait until December to open up the gift. I know what I am going to do after they are all done! CELEBRATE!!! Well, at least for a day! They only have some finishing clean-up and touches left. Once they are done, I no longer have any valid excuses to free me from the horror of paiting the house. I also have to figure out how to get a front yard again.... Oh well. One thing at a time. It will come together...
