Wow! This major home repair/remodel thing is already old. Once it's a mess, it sure adds stress to your life. We have to keep telling ourselves that it won't be this bad for too long--if the weather cooperates. The rubble driveway is now simply sand, dirt, small gravel and MUD!!! The rain we received overnight really messed things up a bit. The workers were planning on replacing the sewer line yesterday but only found the location of the pipe around noon. That didn't leave them enough time to dig the 3' wide, 10' deep, 65' long trench, replace the line and have it ready for the inspector's latest appt time (2:30pm). Being an inspector sounds like a great job. You "work" from 10am to 2:30pm and drive around in your company owned pickup truck for 4.5 hours. Anyway, they hope to complete the sewer line today. In fact, one vehicle is here already this morning, but they are obviously waiting on another worker or something. Wish us luck!!!
